What happens when your trial ends

Your 30-day trial gives you full access to evaluate RideLogger. Here's what changes if it ends without a subscription.

What you'll see

• The banner stays quiet until the final 3 days of the trial. From then on it shows "⏳ Your free trial ends in [N] days" (or "today"/"tomorrow"), with a 💳 Subscribe Now button for admins.
• If the trial lapses without a subscription, the banner changes to "🔒 Your RideLogger subscription is inactive — the schedule is read-only," and the schedule becomes read-only — you can view and print, but not create or edit trips — until someone subscribes.
• Non-admin staff see "ask your administrator to subscribe, or contact us" instead of a Subscribe button, since only admins can start a subscription.

Who can do this

Any admin can subscribe to restore full access at any time — see Start a subscription.

Notes

• Nothing is deleted when a trial lapses — your data is preserved, just read-only until billing is active again.
• This is deliberate: transportation records for residents should never be blocked from being viewed or printed over a billing lapse, even though new edits are paused.
