SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent

How RideLogger text messaging works, and how recipients opt in and out.

About the program

These text messages are sent by RideLogger, a senior-transportation scheduling service operated by mpwsproductionsllc LLC (also referred to as "MPWS Productions"). Senior living and assisted living facilities use RideLogger to coordinate resident transportation, and RideLogger sends transactional, ride-related text messages only on the facility's behalf โ€” never marketing or promotional content. Every message identifies "RideLogger" as the sender. There are two kinds of message:

Sample resident message RideLogger reminder for Jane at Sunrise Senior Living: Mon Jul 14 at 2:30 PM to Dr. Smith. Be ready by 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Sample driver message RideLogger pickup for Sunrise Senior Living: Jane D, Mon Jul 14 at 2:30 PM (ready 2:00 PM). Dest: Dr. Smith. Vehicle: Bus 1. Reply STOP to opt out.

How you opt in

Consent is collected in person by facility staff. When a resident or their authorized family member agrees to receive ride text messages, a staff member records that consent in RideLogger by enabling text reminders on the resident's record. Drivers opt in the same way through their facility. No text messages are sent to anyone whose consent has not been recorded.

Consent is never a condition of any service. Residents receive transportation whether or not they opt in to text messages, and they may opt out at any time without affecting their rides.

Verbal consent script

Because consent is obtained in person, this is the exact script a staff member reads to the resident (or their authorized family member) before enabling text reminders:

"Our facility uses RideLogger, operated by mpwsproductionsllc LLC, to schedule your transportation. Would you like to receive text-message reminders about your rides โ€” the date, time, destination, and when to be ready? These reminders are sent by RideLogger on our behalf. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop the texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not required to receive transportation. May I turn on RideLogger text reminders for your mobile number ending in [last 4 digits]?"

The person must say yes before staff enable reminders. Drivers are asked the same way for their own pickup notifications.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on how many rides a resident or driver has scheduled โ€” typically a small number of messages around each trip. RideLogger does not send recurring campaigns or bulk broadcasts.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. RideLogger does not charge recipients for text messages.

Text messaging is available to U.S. and Canadian mobile numbers only.

How to opt out or get help
