This policy explains how mpwsproductionsllc LLC (also referred to as "MPWS Productions," "MPWS," "we," "us") handles information in connection with RideLogger, the senior transportation scheduling software at theridelogger.com (the "Service").
1. Our role
Each facility that uses RideLogger (the "Facility") decides what information to enter and is the controller of that information. MPWS processes it on the Facility's behalf to provide the Service. This policy describes both the information Facilities enter and the information we collect directly.
2. Information in the Service
Facilities enter and store the following in RideLogger:
- Facility name and settings.
- Staff names, email addresses, phone numbers, and roles.
- Resident first names and last initials, room numbers, phone numbers, and trip notes.
- Trip schedules, destinations, and vehicle information.
- An activity audit log of actions taken in the app.
We ask Facilities to enter only the minimum resident information needed to schedule transportation.
3. Information we collect directly
- Account & authentication data โ login email and authentication tokens, managed through Google Firebase Authentication.
- Billing data โ subscription status and plan. Card payments are processed by Stripe; MPWS never sees or stores full card numbers.
- Signup requests โ the name, facility, email, and phone submitted through our signup form.
- Basic technical data โ standard server and security logs. The app does not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
4. How we use information
- To provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate users and route them to the correct facility.
- To send transactional messages (for example, account, billing, and โ where enabled โ ride-notification texts and emails).
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Text messaging (SMS)
Where a Facility enables text notifications, RideLogger sends transactional ride-related texts (ride reminders to residents/family and pickup notifications to drivers). Recipients opt in through Facility staff and may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms & Consent for full details.
6. How we share information
We share information only:
- With service providers that operate the Service on our behalf โ currently Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), and Resend (email delivery) โ strictly to provide the Service.
- Within a Facility, with that Facility's own authorized staff accounts.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MPWS, our customers, or the public.
- In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Where data is stored & security
Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure in U.S. data centers and is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use access controls, per-facility data isolation, authentication, and other safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
8. Retention & deletion
Facility data is retained while the account is active. A Facility may export its data at any time using the built-in export feature, and may request deletion in writing after cancellation. We may retain limited records as needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
9. Your choices
- Residents and staff may ask the Facility to update or remove their information, or to turn off text reminders on their record.
- Recipients can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP.
- For requests we can act on directly, contact us at the address below; we may direct resident-data requests to the Facility that controls that data.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for facility staff and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by posting a revised version at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to Facility administrators.
